Know exactly who collects every child, every day

Parents register authorised pick-up people with photos, one-time pick-up codes reach them by SMS, and the gate confirms every collection. Staff clock in at the same tablet.

Termly billing: GH₵1,490 a term per campus

Sound familiar?

What we hear at the front desk.

  • Strangers claiming to be an uncle at the gate

  • Visiting days where the gate queue stretches down the road

  • Late arrivals recorded on scraps of paper

Agoo for schools

Set up for the way you work.

  • School groups

A group of schools sees visitors and pick-ups across every campus that joins, with each school deciding what the group can see.

  • Authorised pick-up

Photos of every approved adult, one-time codes for exceptions, and a parent alert the moment a child leaves.

  • Admissions, Accounts and the head’s office

A parent comes for Admissions or Accounts and the whole team is told; whoever is free takes them. Someone asking for the head teacher without an appointment goes to the head’s office first, which sees them, asks the head or books them in for another day.

  • Visiting days without the queue

Parents pre-register for SHS visiting Sundays and walk through with a QR pass, kept in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet if they like.

  • Late and early slips

Reasons recorded at the gate, parents notified, and weekly lateness reports for the head.

  • Parent-teacher meetings

Each teacher has a booking page with their own hours. Parents pick a time from the school website, get an SMS reminder, and join the waitlist when an evening is full.

  • Staff attendance

Teachers and support staff clock in by QR card, PIN or face at the front desk.

  • Heads of department sign off

Teachers ask for leave in the Workspace app; each head of department sees their attendance and approves their leave with a swipe, then the bursar or HR if you add that step, and a deputy covers while they’re away. HR keeps staff records, leave balances and the leave year, which can start in September, on every plan.

  • Teachers’ records for the bursar and HR

Every teacher and member of support staff has an HR record: next of kin, Ghana Card and SSNIT numbers kept encrypted, and the bank or MoMo account they’re paid into. A promotion or a move to another department can be set from the start of term and applies by itself on the day, and teachers see their own record in the Workspace app.

  • The front-office computer as a kiosk

The computer already in the front office checks parents and visitors in from its browser, with nothing to install, and staff can clock in on it with a PIN.

  • Parcels for staff and offices

Parcels and letters for teachers, the bursar or Admissions are logged at the gate or the front office, and whoever they’re for is told with a code to collect them.

  • A free year for public schools

Public and mission schools, and community schools that charge little or nothing, can apply through Agoo for Good for the Community plan, free for a year and renewed while they still qualify. An old students’ group or a company can also sponsor it.

  • Public reviews, with children protected

Your school’s page on Agoo Reviews opens only after a moderator confirms the school and you’ve had 14 days’ notice, or straight away if you choose to open it sooner. Only adults can review, a person reads every review before it appears, and no child or member of staff is named, except the head by title.
